What does "Cositas" mean?
Its a term of endearment that means "little things" in Spanish. Spanish is my first language, this was a fun way to put a piece of me into the name.
Is polymer clay heavy?
Polymer clay is a lightweight material.That's part of my heart behind making these earrings. You can wear a bold statement earring without worrying about it tugging on your ear or hurting your earlobes.
How durable is your jewelry?
When cured correctly, polymer clay has some give! Now, don't go throwing these in the blender or using it to play fetch with your dog! But they'll withstand falling off your nightstand or getting lost in your bag.
Can my polymer clay jewelry get wet?
In order to promote the longevity of your Cositas, I recommend not getting them wet. I've tested the earrings out myself, and they can withstand a shower if you forget, but it's best to remove them.
Are your posts hypoallergenic?
YES! All the findings for Cositas PDX are hypoallergenic and nickel free.
Do you offer custom orders?
I do! I love working together and making earrings for baby showers, bridal portraits.. any special occasion.
What types of jewelry will you make?
Right now I only offer earrings and small wall art. I hope to work on new Cositas offerings as time allows.
How do I commission a my own jewelry?
Head to my contact page. Send me and email with general concept details, color, size, theme, inspiration and how many pairs you'd like.
How much does a custom piece cost?
The cost per pair depends on the size, detail and techniques used. Additionally, there is a commission design fee for every project. Depending on the size of the project, this fee ranges from 30-100.
I have an idea but it's not listed on your site, will you do it?
Absolutely! Let's get creative together. This is the best part of shopping small. You actually get to speak and work with the artist to make your vision come to life.
How long does it take to have the final jewelry?
Once the design is agreed upon, please allow 8 business days (Monday-Friday) for your order to be finished. You will be notified when your order is being shipped!
Is there a minimum or maximum amount?
No order is too big or too small. I've done a single dangle earring for a customer with only one pierced ear. I've made 50 pairs of earrings in 4 different designs as baby shower favors. This is your custom order!:)
How long does it take to receive my order?
Unless otherwise requested, all orders are shipped standard ground and shipped within 3 days of being placed,

Right now I ship in the United States.
What is your return policy?
